I have loved arts and crafts, and all other sorts of sewing and embroidery since I was a young kid. My mom gave me my first set of knitting needles at the age of 10, and I started making hats and scarves that got me a lot of compliments. I guess it was just sort of a self fulfilling prophecy, because the more praise people gave me, the better I thought I was, and the better I actually became. Now, I don’t knit as much anymore, but I do still enjoy sewing occasionally. I want to learn how to make a dress and make some nice summery ones for me and my little girl to wear. I imagine that the most difficult part would be making it look even, but I think I could figure it out if I read some material online. I also have a sewing machine, so that helps.
